I would like to buy an available home/garden, but no staff is on. What do I do?

• If it is after 8AM, you may not access the bot and will have to wait for a staff member to get online. Between the hours of 12 AM – 8 AM the bot will be functional and you may purchase a home or garden through it.

How do I use the bot to buy houses and gardens?

• You may whisper the bot buy # (where # is a number) or buy g# to buy an available house or garden. Please note that to prevent abuse, the alt you are using must have spent at least 48 hours total in the dream.

• In addition, you may whisper the bot sell to sell the house or garden you own. This command does not have the 48 hour limit, and you may use it at any time.

My house/garden was cleared during a House Check and my prizes were in it. How do I get them back?

• Prizes lost during a house check are not given back. If you have purchased prizes and your home was lost, we are not at fault. There is a safe banking system located in town where you may store your treasures - it will accept prizes, tokens, dragons, animals and presents. We highly recommend that you deposit those items into the bank if you plan on leaving the dream for any length of time.

How do I become staff?

• You must apply on the forums during an opened hiring period. If applications are closed, you may not submit an application. No help can be receive towards your application and all rules must be read.

What is a perm house and how do I get one?

• A Perm house is a home that does not get cleared during house checks and is assured safety. They cost 5 GD (Golden Dragonscales – Furcadia Currency) a month.

• To get a perm home, you must ask at the desk to be put on the list. Please ask a member of the executive, or have a staff member contact them for you.

How do I get the winter lotus / lotus?

• Lotus can be obtained by completing the seasonal scoresheet.

• The seasonal lotus (if available) can be obtained by finishing an unknown event within the dream.

Why was my house cleared?

• Your house may have been cleared for several reasons!
  -You could have been AFK for longer than the maximum limit.
  -You may have been offline during the house check.
  -You may not have been present within your yard at the time of the house check.
  -Your house may not have been decorated according to the house check rules.

I left the dream, can you give my key back?

• No. Staff have no way of returning a key to you. You will have to ask the home owner.

• If you are the home owner, have left the dream, and there has not been a house check, you have not lost your key and may return to your home. Even if you leave the dream, you will not lose your home key unless there is a check. The same goes for your bank and dream stats.

When is the next house check?

• House checks are not pre-determined! Staff will hold checks when they feel that one should be done. This does not mean you should request one to be held.

How do I donate to the bot?

• You can donate to the bot by starting a Furcadia secure trade with it! Just use the trade commands, and it’ll do the rest! You’ll also get a few perks for donating, and it will not be cleared from your stats!

What are permissions and how do I set them?

• Permissions are commands activated in your home that allows or denies your guests or key holders to do certain things (such as pasting items and floors and picking up things). You can set them by going to the realtor in town!

My grapes won’t grow, what do I do?

• Grapes are grown like most plants, except one key difference; wood. When you plant your grapes, and they reach a certain size (the stage in growth will look like this: ready and with wood), you must go to Hebi—flox who you will buy seeds and other tools from—and say “wood”. She will then give you a plank of wood, which you must take to your grapes. Simply press f3 over the plant while holding the wood, and it will attach itself. From there, the plant grows like any other! However, once you have harvested the grapes once, if you rewater the empty plant, it will bear fruit again (like most trees).

What plants use the volcanic soil?

• The plants that use Volcanic Soil are the coconuts, bananas and kiwis. That is all.

What does automatically clearing houses mean?

• An automatic clearing of a house is ran by the bot. It checks roughly every 30 minutes for key holders in the dream. If you, or any of your keyholders , are not in the dream for 3 hours, your house is subject to be automatically cleared by the bot. This keeps houses open, so if no staff members are online, there are still houses that can be bought for anyone who wants them.

Where is Irene's quest?

• Irene’s quest was one of the seasonal events in Cypress Homes for the Winter/Christmas 2010 update. It is no longer available.

What are pets, and where can I get them?

• Pets are, simply, pets. Little animals you can take home and feed/take care of to keep them alive. They also are a part of the Score sheet quests. Pets are located in a building near the tents. To get there, simply say “tents” and follow the road SE to a large building down a set of stairs. Pets are sold here.

I was AFK in my yard during a House check, why was it cleared?

Where is Skar/Lynaga?

• You can say tents and walk back behind them to get to Lynaga!

How do I use the prize bank? Where is it?

• The Prize Bank is located in town, manned by the fox, Tyler, who is also in charge of vouchers. To use the bank, you can easily say !bank for a set of instructions. For a quick explanation, simply hold your item (prize tokens, farm animals, etc), stand in front of Tyler's booth, and say !deposit. He will give you a number for each item. To withdraw these, simply say !withdraw#. Again, if you have any other questions, say !bank in front of the banker.
